Business Development Manager

Castle Water are currently searching for 2 experienced Business Development Manager who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, and strengthens customer relationships, whilst winning New Business. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and continue to set our company apart.

 

We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who are who are customer focused with excellent communication skills. They should be highly organised and diligent with a positive demeanour and motivated by individual and team achievements.

Our Business Development Manager salaries are based circa £30,000 per annum, with a potential OTE £50,000 per annum. The role would generally cover the Tayside/East area and would report to the Sales Director (Scotland) based in our Ayr office where you will be expected to attend occasionally along with the Blairgowrie office.

The role is diverse, demanding and rewarding, involving customer service, retention and sales.

Work Location: Remote

  • Closing and facilitating new business
  • Communicate and interact with business decision-makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities
  • Liaise with customers as required in writing, by telephone and face to face
  • Collection and collation of sales figures as required by management
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Generating and pursuing sales leads
  • Planning, preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential customers
  • Reporting directly to the Sales Director with weekly progress, pipeline and sales reports.
  • Effectively manage pipeline of prospects.
  • Contribute as required to the development of sales and marketing strategies
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant Chambers of Commerce and other potential networking groups
  • Any other ad-hoc task as required by management
  • Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills – Essential
  • Ability to understand and address complex issues – Essential
  • Effective time management skills and organisational skills– Essential
  • Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines- Essential
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Office 365 – Desirable
  • Driving license – Essential
