WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP

In these situations, we’ll need to investigate whether or not you should be within the commercial market. This means submitting substantive details to review and forward onto the Wholesaler to investigate.

PLEASE NOTE YOU SHOULD ONLY REQUEST THIS SERVICE WHEN YOU CAN SUFFICIENTLY IDENTIFY THAT YOUR PREMISES IS NON-COMMERCIAL.

Such information to assist with this would be the following:

1. An explanation of your principal use of water on premise, and how it is solely or principally residential use
2. Proof of completion of a residential premise that was previously commercial (such as a completed and effective registry on the council tax website)
3. Completion of a new development site that shows a portion of the site is now in residential use, so that this portion can now enter the non-commercial market
4. A site is derelict, abandoned and/or permanently disconnected from water supplies with no intention or plans of reinstatement or development are in place.

INSTANCES WHERE THIS SERVICE MAY NOT BE RELEVANT TO YOUR QUERY

1. If you identify a demolished/development site; these sites should remain with their previously identified markets in most circumstances, other than those described above
2. If your water is for a Housing Development; theses are still deemed commercial until the principal use of water becomes residential. Even if partial sections of the development are completed, the commercial supplies for building purposes must remain in market until no longer in use.

NOTE: In most circumstances we may have to carry out a Meter Supply Arrangement Verification if the market is not up-to-date with the correct supply point information.
